A UNIQUE COLLECTION OF JUST FIFTY SETS WORLDWIDE
In Chinese culture, the Horse is known for its energetic and dynamic nature. It symbolizes vitality, speed, and perseverance. People born in the Year of the Horse are believed to possess similar traits, such as being hardworking, warm-hearted, and independent.
Through the great breadth and depth of our inventory we are pleased to offer a uniquely opulent pair of 1978 and 1990 vintage sherry cask matured whiskies - both liquids matured from casks laid down in prior Years of the Horse. Packaged to support gifting as well as personal consumption, these represent a compelling connection to the past as well as a wonderful gift to treasure for the future.

A MAJESTIC PAIR OF SHERRY CASK MATURED WHISKIES
- 1990 Blended Malt Scotch Whisky: A blend of Speyside malts, matured in European Oak first and second fill sherry butts, with a finishing period in a single PX Sherry Butt for additional depth and complexity.
- 1978 Blended Scotch Whisky: A blend of Lowland grain & Speyside malt, matured in refill American Oak, with a lengthy finishing period in Oloroso Sherry.

A UNIQUE CABINET TO TREASURE THROUGH GENERATIONS
- Drawn from wind-felled elm trees from the garden at Hazelwood House and featuring a victorious horse engraved into the wood grain the unique cabinet captures the ritual of opening and enjoying a bottle with a secret button that unlocks the cabinet for the owner to show their friends.
- The unique wood grain of natural elm means that every cabinet carries a unique pattern. The Chinese are famed for their skills in wood craft, particularly using their own elm species which has been favoured since the Ming dynasty.

ONLY FIFTY SETS FOR THE WORLD
- Due to limitations on supply of both wood for the cabinet and whisky, production is limited to only fifty sets worldwide, with an RRSP of £10,000 GBP per set.
- Each set is painstakingly crafted from a section of Scottish elm harvested from the garden at Hazelwood House.
- The cabinet features a push mechanism drawer and secret opening.
- The whiskies are heavily sherried 1978 and 1990 Vintages dating back to prior Years of the Horse, with a dark and opulent natural colour.
