Within the release, aficionados are invited to join a journey crossing The Transatlantic, a 33-year-old Blended Grain, to taste the very best that Scottish and American whisk(e)y making has to offer. Others will be tempted to take a soujourn in the opposite direction, travelling the tasting notes of The Silk Traveller, a warming 44-year-old Single Grain.

Those looking to travel further afield will take a step back through time, to marvel at the whisky production of The Old Ways, a 1972 Vintage Single Grain. For those looking for something a little closer to home, The Garden at Hazelwood will welcome the curious with orchard fruit characteristics, within a 47-year-old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky.

The Last Trace

58-Year-Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, 43.1% ABV

Nose: The nose opens with the enticing invitation of toasted coconut, evolving to a buttery, yet mentholic quality. From there, the aromas develop, offering plains of leather and parchment paper - a nod to time spent slumbering in cask.

Taste: The rancio qualities continue on the palate, offering an antique character, before a creamy crescendo, offered hand in hand with a lasting tart tang.
